Belle & Sebastian – The Life Pursuit
What I’ve heard of it so far, I’m not that impressed with. Perhaps time will change my mind.

Sarah Harmer – I’m A Mountain
Once again, Sarah Harmer delivers the goods. It’s a lot more bluegrassy than anything else she has done to date. And where it’s not bluegrass, it’s quite folky. Some of the songs sound a bit similar, (“The Ring” and “I Am Aglow”, for instance), but it’s hard not to like this record. It’s not a serious record, one of the songs is about a Salamander (sung in French, no less), but it’s a step removed from very pop sounding tracks like “Basement Apartment”.
