Canadian Music Week is kind of the Canadian Equivalent of CMJ and it runs from March 5-8 in Toronto, ON. There are a ton of bands playing in Toronto that week, and you can find a list of them all over here. The culmination of Canadian Music Week is the 8th Annual Indepedent Music Awards which will be take place on March 8, 2008. The New Pornographers, The Besnard Lakes, The Cliks, Young Galaxy, Attack In Black, Tokyo Police Club, and Lowest of the Low are all scheduled to play the awards show ceremony.
