As for the lineup itself, its got a lot of the right names in it, but is it really interesting? In my opinion, no, not really. Most, if not all, of these bands have made frequent stops in the city in the past year or two and while it’s nice to see them all in one place, do I really want to schlep out to a festival in Jersey to see them again? If it weren’t for Radiohead at the top of the bill, the answer would probably be thanks, but no thanks.
By the way, for those of who didn’t know about this festival, (like the faithful army of folks who get all of their music news from this blog), the All Points West Festival is being put on the organizers of Coachella and it will take place on August 8, 9, 10 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ.
