Remember when I wrote about the new Female British Invasion a while back, well now it looks like the final (song) bird, Amy Macdonald, will make her NYC debut on April 29, 2008 at The Mercury Lounge (one short week after Kate Nash plays 2 sold out shows at Webster Hall). Though New York is the only North American gig I see on her schedule right now, it’s probably safe to assume some other US cities will end up in the mix. Amy’s solo debut, This Is The Life is still only available as an import, no word on when it will be released domestically.
