The Lisps at Union Hall (April 5, 2008)
After their longest tour ever, The Lisps were back in NYC on Saturday night to play their “homecoming” show at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn. After an energetic set filled with their signature quirky, anachronistic pop tunes, The Lisps turned it up to “eleven” when they invited (an admittedly wasted) Drink Up Buttercup on stage for the last song. Some instruments and/or ceiling tiles may need to be replaced, but in the end, I think everyone will agree that this “homecoming” was a blast.
The Lisps have a new album out now called Country Doctor Museum. More pictures of the big finale after the jump.
