Hot Chip kicked off the evening’s “official” music program with a fairly low key (compared to the rest of the night) triptych of their own tunes, but the volume on stage got turned up to “11” when 80’s legend Chaka Khan hit the stage. To be honest, I wouldn’t know a Hot Chip song if it bit me in the ass, but I dug the music. Matt from The Music Slut, said the Hot Chip originals set list (before they became Chaka Kahn‘s backing band) looked like this: Shake A Fist, One Pure Thought, Ready For The Floor.
