A lot of folks around here were interested in the 2008 babyGap & GapKids Casting Call Contest, so I thought I would post some information on another kids contest, the “Live With Regis and Kelly’s 2009 Beautiful Baby Search“. The winning baby will receive a $125,000 to be used toward a college education and appear on the cover of Parenting Early Years (that’s a little better than 3K worth of Gap clothes if you ask me).

To enter “Live’s” 2009 Beautiful Baby Search, parents must submit a recent photo of their child by mail or by visiting LiveRegisandKelly.com, where further details and full contest rules are available. Entrants must be between the ages of 6 months and 48 months and the photo must have been taken within the last month. The staffs of “Live” and Parenting will narrow down the thousands of entries to ten semi-finalists, who will be announced on the show on the first day of Beautiful Baby Week, March 9-13, 2009. Viewers will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorites, and the top five contestants will be revealed the following day.

The five finalists and their parents will fly to New York to be guests on “Live” and take part in a Parenting photo shoot, and the week will culminate with the announcement of the grand prize winner. In addition to the top prize, “Live” and Gerber will award an additional $100,000 to be divided amongst the four runners-up, to be used toward a college education. And all ten semi-finalists will be awarded a year’s supply of Gerber(R) products customized for their child using the Start Healthy, Stay Healthy(TM) nutrition plan, which helps provide nutrition guidance from birth to preschool.

All entries must be received by Feb 13, 2009 at 5PM ET.
