Matisyahu at The Bell House (02/22/09)

In between watching the Oscars, I caught part of Matisyahu‘s improvisational set at the Bell House. Before going in, I had heard so much about how his live show just bursts with energy, but as a first timer, I have to admit, I was little let down by the whole thing. Matisyahu’s new record entitled Light (his first full length in 3 years) comes out on April 21 on Epic Records. A few more pics of Matis after the jump. You’ll have to come check out a regular show sometime. I think we were all focused on listening to each other and playing together for the first time (Dub Trio vs. Matisyahu) that some of the normal energy wasn’t there.
