I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Brooklyn blogger and veteran reporter Robert Guskind‘s (1958-2009) passing today. For those of you not familiar with the man or his work, Bob was the founder of the excellent Brooklyn blog, Gowanus Lounge, and up until January Bob also worked a day job at Curbed.com. Though we never met in person, we did email each other occasion, and whenever we did, Bob was always nothing short of a gentleman. My sincerest condolences to his friends and family, he will be missed.
There are many tributes on the Internet today by those who knew him better than me, you can find a list of them all below (courtesy of Flatbush Gardener):

They are lowered to NY Post status by this article. If they were not his friend, they have no right to speak of him in such a way. If they were his friend, they would never think of doing so.]

1959?
Fixed. Thanks.
