The Balvenie – 17 Year Old Madeira Cask
Hey, what would Chanunkah/Christmas be without a little fine whisky? Well, more or less the same for me, but I know some people like a little libation with their holiday celebrations. In any event, to put you in a festive mood, the good people at The Balvenie (whose Scotch I used to drink even before they promised to send me a bottle) have a bunch of free tasting events coming up which will feature various samples from The Balvenie range, including the new 17 Year Old Madeira Cask. Here’s a list of all of the upcoming tasting events in the New York area:

Should you choose to imbibe in a blended malt beverage this holiday season, you can head on over to Grand Central Terminal and get free engraving on your bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue and an “exclusive gift” if you print out the VIP Certificate after the jump. Dates and times for the free engraving are below:

Sadly, the Glenlivet Links are no longer, but the famous distillery is currently offering free holiday labels at their website. I know, I know, it’s really no substitute for free mini golf and single malt whisky, but it’s the kind of thing my father-in-law used to enjoy.
I need to move to New York! Nice…Thanks Dave for the DMB memorabilia! Love it! Happy Holidays!
