Arcade Fire has just announced a second Madison Square Garden show with Spoon on August 5. Tickets for the new show will go on Amex presale on Wed, June 23 at 9AM. General on sale will begin at 9AM ET on Sat, June 26 (Buy Tickets). Check arcadefire.com/shows for the latest show listings.
In other AF news, the band is playing a secret club show in London on July 7 and they are offering special presale tickets to people who pre-order the album over here. Tickets for the intimate gig go on sale to the general public on Thursday, July 1 (good luck my British friends).
Just a quick note to let you know that Arcade Fire are going to do an exclusive secret show before Reading and Leeds which will be their only show before the festivals.
They’ve set up a site for fans to get tickets to this show by pre-ordering the album (which will enter them into a lottery to be able to buy tickets).
More terms and conditions of the special London club show presale after the jump.
Arcade Fire are offering an exclusive ticket pre-sale to a secret London show on a first come-first served basis to all those registered buyers of their new album on this site. The show will be on July 7th 2010 at a secret venue to be announced.
This offer is only eligible to customers with a UK billing address.
You can register for this pre-sale if you purchase the new Arcade Fire album on pre-order from this store here.
Tickets will be on general sale from Thursday 1st July.
The exclusive pre-sale will begin Monday 28th June and end on Wednesday 30th June.
All registered email addresses by Thursday 24th June will receive an email with an access code that is matched to their email address.
You must register by midnight Thursday 24th June in order to qualify for the pre-sale.
This email will be sent to you on Monday 28th June by a ticket retailer called Ticketmaster who are acting on behalf of Arcade Fire. We will restrict the number of emails sent to the number of tickets available, so the sooner you are registered then the more likely you are to be able to buy tickets.
You will need to have the correct combination of your email address and the access code in order to buy tickets.
Ticket purchase is strictly non-transferable and is limited to 2 tickets per person. You will have 24 hours from the time you receive your email in order to buy your tickets. If you have not bought tickets by this time then the code will expire and we will notify the next person in the queue on a first come-first served basis.
Full ticketing terms & conditions are available here

What a disgraceful scam I preordered album to get tickets and surprise surprise not everyone got a code to buy tickets livenation , ticketmaster and universal shame on you. Perhaps a journalist can find out how many tickets were available and if any members of the public got them. All this does is damage the bands reputation when treated badly by the corporations crass PR
