2010 Polaris Music Prize Short List
As with any top ten list, there are bound to some disappointments and some surprises. Some of the more notable names left off of this year’s Polaris Music Prize short list include: The New Pornographers, Blue Rodeo, Holy Fuck, as well as bumpershine favorites like Jason Collett, Zeus, Bahamas, Hannah Georgas and Basia Bulat [Drake thinks Sunset Rubdown was robbed of a much deserved long list nomination -ed.].
