Stop by Bryant Park on Friday, August 27 at 1PM and exchange your old jeans for a new pair of Levi’s Curve IDs whilst watching a free performance by Janelle Monae. Slightly ironic that Levi’s has tapped the famously tuxedo clad Monae to be the face of this event, oh well, maybe she’ll show up in a “Candian Tuxedo” for this event.

WHAT: Levi’s invites the women of New York City to come check out our “Wear What Fits” event to pick up a free pair of new Curve ID jeans (while supplies last), and get a little fashion inspiration and fun along the way. Here’s how it works:
• Stop by the event on Friday, August 27th
• Bring something that doesn’t fit into your life anymore – it can be an old handbag or jeans, an ex-boyfriend’s T-shirt, an antique lamp – really anything that no longer fits into your life
• Donate the item that doesn’t fit and you’ll get something that does – a free new pair of custom fit Levi’s Curve ID jeans
Style Editor and TV Personality Bobbie Thomas will be on hand to give fashion tips & answer style questions, while Levi’s denim fit specialists personally fit each woman in her perfect pair of Levi’s Curve ID jeans.
Throughout the day, women are invited to hang out and listen to great music from DJs and performers including 2010 Grammy nominee Janelle Monae who will take the stage at 1 PM. There will also be local food and fun activities like t-shirt screen printing and sketch artists.
Admission and one pair of Levi’s Curve ID denim is free to the first 1,000 guests who exchange something that does not fit. All exchanged items will be donated to Goodwill.
