I think it’s fair to say that 2010 was a breakout year Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes. The band’s music became ubiquitous on television and they graduated from playing small clubs to being a popular festival draw and selling out 1000+ capacity venues. To bridge the gap between 2009’s Up From Below and their next album (2011 perhaps?), the band has just released a new iTunes session featuring reworked versions of the band’s most popular songs and a previously unrecorded live track entitled “Fire & Water”.
