Though it’s closer to Canada than Manhattan, Rochester, NY is still technically part of New York, so I figure I’m still serving my core constituency with this concert announcement. Elvis Costello and The Imposters (not the band he’s been playing with while promoting National Ransom) will be taking the stage for the 10th Anniversary of the Rochester International Jazz Festival on June 17, 2011. The festival itself runs from June 10-18, 2011 and the five headliners announced so far include: Natalie Cole (June 10), The Fab Faux (June 11), Bela Fleck & The Original Flecktones (June 14), k.d. lang (June 16) and Elvis Costello & The Imposters (June 17).
