Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson (08/27/11)

Despite the Hurricane predictions, filmmaker Spike Lee is throwing his Third Annual Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson celebration at Prospect Park’s Nethermead field on Saturday, August 27. The event is free and will go from 12 – 6PM 10AM – 2PM; DJ Spinna will be there on the “wheels of steel” as usual.

UPDATE: Due to the impending hurricane, the party time has been changed from 10AM – 2PM. For those of you who are coming from afar, bear in mind that the NYC Mass Transit System is shutting down at noon on Saturday.
