Totally Biased w/ W. Kamau Bell
Hey folks, are you like me? Do you watch Louie and see commercials for Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell and then always laugh at the same black Spider-Man joke? Well, even though those commercials make it look like the show has totally wrapped production, apparently they’re still taping episodes (Thursday nights from August 6 – September 20) and you can even get free tickets to the show if you live here in NYC!
In the new FX show, ‘Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell’, Bell will dissect a multitude of topics including politics, pop culture, race, religion, and the media. The series will feature his commentary along with features from other contributors and sketch comedy. The SF Weekly has called Kamau “smart, stylish, and very much in the mold of politically outspoken comedians like Dave Chappelle.” Endorsed and co-created by Chris Rock and slated to follow the hit ‘Louie’ on FX, the buzz is so intense around ‘Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell,’ why would you miss the chance to see it live?

If you can’t make a taping, you can also see the Totally Biased writers (W. Kamau Bell, Nato Green, Janine Brito and Very Special Guests) on Aug 24, 2012 at Union Hall (Buy Tickets). If you pushed me into a corner, I might speculate that one of the “very special guests” at this show would be Brooklyn’s own Chris Rock (who also happens to be the executive producer of Totally Biased). Of course, I’ve been wrong before.
Totally Biased premieres on Aug 9 on FX at 11PM.
