Jay-Z and Coldplay at Barclays Center (12/31/12)

It’s no secret that Shawn Carter and Chris Martin are pals, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Jay-Z and Coldplay are teaming for a massive New Year’s Eve party at the house that Hova built. But wait, there’s more… Just a day before the UK superstars ring in the new year with Mr. Carter, they’ll be playing their own headlining gig at the Barclays Center on Dec 30 with Naturally 7. Tickets for Coldplay (and Jay-Z) at Barclays Center will go on general sale to the public on Saturday, Nov 17 at 10AM ET at livenation.com (prices will range from $49.50 – $499.50). Tickets go on citiprivatepass presale for the two Brooklyn shows beginning Tuesday, Nov 13, at 10AM ET.

In other related news, Coldplay’s new live album, Coldplay: Live 2012 will be released on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray on Nov 19. The new Coldplay concert film will also screen theatrically in select cinemas for one night only, on Tuesday, November 13. Click here for NYC showtimes.
